Dia 2 Iniciado
A total of 50 entries were compiled on Day 1 of Event #2: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em at the PokerGO Studio just outside of the Aria Resort and Casino, now just six remain as the final table is set and a winner will be crowned.
The high caliber tournament had one particular player bag chips at the end of the day in Brandon Adams, who just yesterday final tabled the opening event of the Poker Masters and currently sits fourth on the current 2018 Purple Jacket rankings.
Leading the final six is Jared Jaffee with an impressive 2,100,000 in chips, which is almost double the stack of Adams (1,260,000), who is second on the leaderboard to start the day. The other four players to make up the final table are nothing but exceptional poker specialist in Bill Klein (470,000), Jake Schindler (630,000), Jason Koon (755,000), and fan favorite Daniel Negreanu (1,035,000).
Negreanu is sitting third in chips going into the final table and has one of the scariest resumes in the world. Currently sitting second on the all-time money list and showing no signs of slowing down as he tries to reclaim that first spot. He will be looking to bring his experience to the final stretch of this tournament and take down the second event of this year's Poker Masters.
The final table will return at 15,000/25,000/25,000 with all runners now guaranteed at least a cash of $75,000 and 60 points towards the jacket, with the winner taking down 300 points and a cool $400,000.
With the amount of skill and experience of players returning to the felt, it's going to be a day of creative poker play and intense decision making. The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing you updates throughout the whole final table until a winner is crowned.
